Synopsis
Grocer Ricardo loves his ward, Annetta, but allows her to marry Steve, an interloper. On the wedding night she realizes she loves Ricardo, not Steve. Meanwhile Ricardo has invested in some sub-marine real estate in Florida. While he is waiting for the tide to go out, he is kidnaped by some bootleggers. The outcome is happy: Ricardo is rescued, aided by his parrot; he wins Annetta; and Steve is claimed by another woman.
