Synopsis

A telegram arrives in the small Western town of Coma and informs Sky High, a cowboy, that his wealthy uncle in the East has died and left his entire fortune to his nephew. A condition to the inheritance, however, is that Sky High must live in the East for one year. While Sky High goes grudgingly, his uncle's only other heir, Allan Landers, plots to get the fortune for himself. He hires actress Goldie Le Croix to woo Sky High in the East and then jilt him, thereby prompting him to return to the West before the year is out in order to forget his disappointment. The arranged romance goes according to plan until the wedding day. Then, when Allan tells Goldie to walk out on Sky High, she informs him that she really has fallen in love with the cowboy, after which the couple gets married, and looks forward to receiving the fortune at the end of the year.
