Synopsis
A man (played by Arthur Rankin) receives a 20-year prison sentence for accidentally killing his mother (played by Lucy Beaumont). Rankin's cell-mate (played by Sheldon Lewis) kills himself and leaves a note introducing Rankin to a wealthy girl friend. The plot also touches upon a pearl necklace and a wealthy clubman (played by Gaston Glass), who makes a sizable wager that he can earn his own living for 6 months.
