Synopsis

Keith Hunter attempts to acquire the floundering business of his competitor Bill Sloan and to seduce Bill's beautiful wife Sharon as well. At a party given by the Sloans, Bill's attention is captured by Nanette Nolan, a married woman who enjoys seducing men, while Sharon's divorced friend, Marge, arouses interest by swimming nude in the pool. Sharon tries to save her marriage by making love to her husband, but he rebuffs her, and she becomes vulnerable to Keith's attack. He nearly rapes her, but she finally surrenders to his advances. The next night Sharon makes another desperate attempt to seduce her husband, and when she fails, she reveals her infidelity with Keith. A confrontation between the two men leads to a poolside fight. Sharon goes with her children to stay with Marge, but the next morning Keith convinces her to go with him to Las Vegas. Bill, forced to surrender his car, his house, and his business, tries unsuccessfully to persuade Nanette to run off with him; then he seduces Marge, locks her in a closet, and takes away his children. Sharon's weekend with Keith is interrupted when she hears that her children have been kidnapped by their father. She returns home to find Bill staying with Nanette. Bill's temper flares when he hears Sharon discussing sex with Nanette and Marge, and he fires his gun. The police fire tear gas into the house, and Bill and Sharon are finally reconciled.
