Synopsis

While on a mission to the United States to buy ammunition, Juanita, a Mexican rebel leader, falls in love with Captain Arthur Boyce. Arthur, however, ignores her, and his rejection prompts Juanita to have him arrested on a trumped-up murder charge. When the real killer confesses, Juanita decides to gain revenge on Arthur through his sweetheart, Clare Nelson, and so she kidnaps her and tries to force her to marry one of the revolutionaries. Then, the rebels capture Arthur, and Juanita orders that both he and Clare face a firing squad. Before the sentence can be carried out, however, United States troops cross the border and, during their raid on the rebel camp, save the Americans and kill Juanita.

Notes

This original story was entitled "Woman's Hatred." This film was re-issued in 1920 under the title The She Tiger. At that time Gretchen Hartman was called Greta Hartman and Charles Ehler was called Charles Elder. Edwin Cecil, who played Costa, was probably Edward Cecil.
