Synopsis
Believing he has killed Strongheart's legal master in a fight, David flees to northern Canada with the dog. There he finds employment and falls in love with Sally, the daughter of the trading post proprietor. Strongheart leaves the settlement to find a mate; and returning with "The Fawn," he finds David stricken with pneumonia. David recovers, wins money in a dograce, assisted by Strongheart and The Fawn, and marries Sally. A visit from David's father reveals that the man David believed he killed has recovered.
