Synopsis

As a hero's reward, Grandma Van Vechten gathers all of the eligible women she can find for a reception honoring her grandson Jean-Marie, who is on leave from the French flying corps. Rejecting all of the high society debutantes, however, Jean-Marie at first falls in love with Grandma's secretary, Luise D'Auvergne, and then is completely smitten when a masked woman kisses him at a ball. Hoping to find her once again, Jean-Marie kisses every woman he meets, but never again feels quite the same thrill. Meanwhile, Luise is wrongly accused of stealing Grandma's jewels, and, just as the police are about to catch her, Jean-Marie, aware of her innocence, rescues her. To show her appreciation, Luise kisses Jean-Marie. He realizes instantly that she is the woman from the ball, and so, even before he clears her of the robbery charge, he proposes to her, and Luise quickly accepts.
