Synopsis
June, the ward of Major Warfield, narrowly escapes death at the hands of Gabriel Lenoir, an uncle who had tried to kill her in order to become sole heir to her fortune. June then returns to her old home town where she meets Herbert Greyson and falls in love. One day, noticing a suspicious man around Lenoir's home, June enters the building and discovers a hidden wireless station. When Lenoir returns home, he tries to kill June, but Greyson rescues the girl, and June's assailant is arrested as a spy. Soon after, one of Lenoir's accomplices enters the Warfield home and makes another attempt on June's life; but the girl saves herself by locking the man in the cellar, thus capturing another spy. June's bravery in the service of her country is then matched by Greyson, who joins the American forces in France. Before leaving, he proposes to June, who accepts.
