Synopsis

When Babs Hardcastle is expelled from boarding school because of her insistence upon expounding romantic theories, her concerned father sends his recalcitrant daughter to Aunt Emily in Boston. There she discovers that her aunt has been engaged to Jim Winthrop for six years, but he is unable to marry her until after his two sisters and aunt marry. Babs arranges to have Jim and his family accompany her to Florida where she schemes to marry off Jim's relatives. After Babs compromises her father with Jim's aunt and rounds up husbands for the two girls, Jim is free to marry Emily. However, Emily has already married a professor and Babs, discovering that she really loves Jim, marries him.
