Synopsis
Joan Robinson, a discouraged chorus girl, returns home and finds boarder Tom Harver, an author who works in a publishing house, occupying one of the rooms. Tom encourages Joan to marry a wealthy man, but instead she chooses Tom, whom she loves in spite of his poverty.
