Synopsis
Before she dies, an Indian woman asks her half-breed son never to tell his sister Fawn that her mother was white. Years later, when Fawn falls in love with a stranger who loves her even though he thinks she is a half-breed, her brother, now a fugitive known as the Phantom, warns her not to marry. After the stranger identifies himself as the son of the murdered Sheriff Hollister and leads a posse to the Phantom's cave, thinking he killed a man during a stagecoach robbery, Snake Le Gal, responsible for stealing Fawn from her father, Jimmy Dorr, killing Sheriff Hollister, and robbing the stage, stabs Romney, his cohort and the real killer, because they both desire Fawn. When Romney confesses to stop the Phantom's lynching, the Phantom races to Le Gal's cabin and saves Fawn from rape. Dorr then shoots Le Gal, who, before he dies, confesses that Fawn "is all white." She and Hollister can now marry.
