Synopsis
A houseful of guests in a country mansion becomes involved in a net of crime when one of them is murdered at midnight. Suspicion falls on several women, each of whom was known intimately by the victim before her marriage and subsequently was blackmailed by him, and narrows to one girl, who is loved by a district attorney and another man. The former doubts her, but the latter proves her innocence and discovers the real murderer.
