Synopsis

Mrs. Rose Milburn, a devoted woman married to a drunkard, reluctantly gives up her bridal home to benefit her daughter's social standing and takes her family to live with her wealthy mother. Charlie Milburn's alcoholism causes his mother-in-law to turn him out of the house, and in the street he is killed by a passing truck. Rose and her son return to "the little yellow house," which has been bought and restored by Rob Hollis, an ex-sweetheart of Emmy Milburn, the daughter. Ensconced in an apartment in the city, Emmy is being led astray by Wells Harbison, an older married man. Wells is forcing his attentions on Emmy when Rob arrives in time to save her. They return together to the cherished house.
