Synopsis

Albert Durant, a millionaire turfman, becomes infatuated with the Grand Duchess Zenia, a Russian refugee in Paris. Unable to make her acquaintance, he disguises himself as a waiter. His presumptuous manner plus his ineptness so annoy Zenia that she has him hired for her personal staff to do only menial work. Despite herself, she falls in love with him. When she learns his true identity she flees from Paris. Months later, Albert finds her, wealth gone, running a humble roadside inn. Albert offers to take her away from all this life, and of course she happily complies.
