Synopsis
On a boat to Florida, ballplayer Tom Kelly falls in love with Evelyn Dale. Arriving at spring training camp, Tom learns that he has been dropped from the team by Joe Cooley, who is afraid that his position as manager of the team will be jeopardized by Tom's superior knowledge of baseball. Not knowing what to do, Tom allows a real estate developer to use his name in advertising, and he begins to make a lot of money. Tom's success impresses his former teammates, and they invest all their money with him. Morgan West, a crooked real estate dealer in league with Cooley, then sells Tom a worthless swamp. Tom gets the money back, however, and, when Cooley is fired by the team's owner, Tom is appointed in his place, soon finding Evelyn loyally at his side.
