Synopsis

Easterner Jim Pierce, the son of a wealthy manufacturer, yearns for the romance of the West. Fulfilling his dreams, Jim buys a failing cattle ranch and reverses its fortunes when he begins to raise sheep, thus incurring the enmity of deposed foreman Ramero and cattle rancher Bull Elkins. But success proves to be lonely, and so Jim requests that his father find a suitable bride for him. When his sister's friend, Lee Tyndal, arrives in search of a ranch to buy, Jim assumes that she has been dispatched by old man Pierce and treats her like his prospective bride. Lee is greatly offended and flees to Ramero's cabin where Elkins imprisons her. Jim comes to her rescue, and in the ensuing fight, Elkins is killed. Once the misunderstanding is cleared up, a perfect solution is reached when Lee secures her ranch by marrying the lonely Jim.
