Synopsis
Harvey Baremore, who is cheating both his wife, Druid, and his employer, John Kimball, has Druid plead to his boss for him. The employer agrees to cover for the husband, apparently with a "friendship" with the wife as the price. This triangle is climaxed by the husband's discovery of his wife in his employer's apartment and his willingness to ignore the situation for a certain consideration. This whole affair is revealed, however, to have been staged by the employer, who loves the wife, to expose the husband for the rotter he is, and in consequence the wife acknowledges her love for the employer. The husband's entanglements with a gold-digging blonde come to light, and he is killed when hit by an automobile.
