Synopsis
A quartet of vaudeville performers, stranded in a country hotel, decides, after a furious quarrel, to pool their talents and put on a show to pay the rent. The rehearsals, in the presence of the landlord, provide the central episodes of a slave mart in /ncient ome where beautiful captives are bid for by a tyrant and a heroic gladiator. uring rehearsals, burglars enter and attempt a robbery after tying the landlord to a steam boiler, but the robbers are caught and he is rescued just as the boiler is about to explode.
