Synopsis
After 15 years of hard work, "Twisty," a stage comedian, finally gets a chance to make the big time when he is called in for an interview with Greening, a prominent theatrical producer. Twisty meets Kathlyn Carson in Greening's office, however, and taken with the girl's charms, forgets about the interview and leaves with her instead. Taking her under his wing, he finds her a place to stay and a part in a show. On the show's opening night, Twisty gets into a fight with the leading man and knocks him cold; the show goes on, however, for Twisty dons the man's makeup and plays his part to perfection. He becomes the hit of the show, but the strain is too much for his weak heart, and he dies shortly after the last curtain.
