Synopsis
Georges St. Germain, a suave Parisian boulevardier, is attracted to Eleanor Kent, a cute American, and discovers that she is a close friend of Yvette Bérgère, Georges' onetime fiancée and the wife of corpulent, insanely jealous Henri Bérgère. In an effort to be near Eleanor, Georges takes up residence in Bérgère's hotel, leading Yvette to believe that he is attempting to renew their affair. Georges and Eleanor eventually come to love each other, despite the assorted lusts, vanities, and jealousies of the Bérgères.
