Synopsis

King Carson, a rancher near Cochise City, is ordered to leave the Arizona Territory by iron-fisted Jeff Williams, an empire-builder embittered by the desertion of his wife and daughter years earlier. An itinerant theatrical troupe gives a performance in Cochise City, and Carson defiantly attends; when several of Williams' men throw rotten vegetables at the actors, he beats them in a fight. After the performance, Carson befriends a young actress who has fallen ill, taking her to the cave where he is hiding from Williams' gunmen. The girl's condition worsens, and Carson is forced to return to town for a doctor. He is caught by a lynch party led by Williams but escapes with the help of a small Mexican girl. He returns to the cave, followed closely by the mob. He is about to be killed when the young actress is identified as Williams' long-lost daughter. Carson and the grateful Williams are reconciled, and things look good for the honest rancher and the actress.
