Synopsis
Rejected suitor Dick Carleton seeks solace in the woods where he and some friends establish a health resort. After a time, Mary, his former sweetheart, arrives. She is now a widow whose son is in bad health. Her situation rekindles Carleton's affection and he enters a horserace to earn money so as to be able to marry her. A plot is formed against Carleton to annex his property and steal his horse. After numerous complications Carleton defeats his enemies, wins the race, and weds Mary.
