Synopsis
Eluding the police, larcenous Joe Hammond joins a Salvation Army gathering, where, under the cold and watchful eye of Dugan the cop, he declares that he has forsaken the life of crime. Blanche, a Salvation Army lass and sometime blackmailer, congratulates Joe on his reformation, little knowing that within days Joe, disguised as Santa Claus, will again be robbing the rich. Joe and Blanche are later separately arrested and taken to the station house; before they are parted by iron bars, however, they make plans for a long, happy, and honest future together.
