Synopsis
While caught in a storm, Rena Goring and her father rescue Gordon Gray from the sea, but "Old Blind Goring" drowns. Rena blames Gordon and insists that he marry her to carry on her father's work--fishing. Gordon complies, but after 6 months of unhappiness he persuades Rena to return to his home and wealthy family. While Rena receives training in etiquette from Gordon's aunt, Paul Dupré tries to break up her marriage. Rena accepts his attentions to spite Gordon, but the Grays come to realize their love for each other--climaxing in an edge-of-a-cliff battle between Gordon and Paul. Paul falls into the sea; the Grays are firmly united.
