Synopsis

Lord Bordon dies while traveling abroad, and a distant relative inherits the title. Lady Bordon, whose existence is not known to the world, goes to England to dispute the claim but dies before she can make her presence known. Her sister, Maggie, takes over the care of a surviving son, Ralph, who grows to manhood not knowing that he is a peer. Ralph, a strong lad, gets a job doing exhibition boxing in a circus, where he falls in love with Ima. Ralph meets Rollo, the weak fellow who will become Lord Bordon, and the two become friends. Ralph goes to the Argentine to procure horses and stays there for several years. On the eve of Rollo's wedding to Dora, Ralph returns and learns from his aunt that he is the rightful heir. Ralph at first decides to ruin the wedding by revealing his claim to the title, but his better nature prevails and he does nothing, returning to the circus and Ima, his true love.
