Synopsis

At a horseshow, Fred Drake, son of a wealthy Los Angeles businessman, sees a beautiful Spanish girl forcibly carried off by automobile. Fred gives chase, pursuing the car through traffic, even across private lawns, but manages to elude the traffic police; at length, he rescues the girl, Ysabel Castro, from a boarding school and delivers her to a speeding express bound for Mexico. Fred's father wishes to send him to the border to investigate narcotic smuggling on his property, and he agrees to go upon discovering that the neighboring ranch belongs to the Castros. In course, Fred ambushes two men who shoot the smugglers' messenger; and impersonating him, he returns to the Castro ranch where he has been courting Ysabel. Soon his ruse is discovered, and he is taken prisoner. He is about to be executed along with Castro and the girl when Silver King brings a detachment of American and Mexican cavalry to the rescue.
