Synopsis

Hank Robbins, a scout, and Red, his pal, take into their care a baby found in the wreckage of a covered wagon ravaged by a bandit. Later, Blake, an outlaw, forces young Jim Norton to hold up a stage while Blake conceals himself, and the runaway horses are directed in the pathway of Kitty, who has just been discharged from a dancehall. Red pulls her to safety and takes her to a hotel where she cares for the baby. Wounded, Norton makes his way to town where he is found in the stable by Red and given aid by him; Kitty recognizes Norton as a former sweetheart, and Hank enters a poker game to win money for the lovers from Blake, the bandit. Trying to retrieve his money from Red, Blake is exposed as the bandit murderer of the child's parents, but he escapes with Hank's winnings. Red chases Blake and fells him with his slingshot, forcing him to the edge of a cliff; Blake's confession saves Norton from hanging, and the money is given to the bride and groom.
