Synopsis

Country boy Michael Flint arrives in the big city with a letter of introduction to his wealthy uncle, who secures for Michael a job with a uniform--streetcleaning. He is immediately pursued by a variety of ladies, including his landlady, and the volume increases when Uncle James Flint's reported death makes Michael an heir. Meanwhile, he has lost his heart to Ruth Anthony. Life grows more complicated, but the unexpected return of James Flint resolves a breach of promise suit brought against Michael by Grace St. Clair, Broadway actress and the elder Flint's old girl friend, and Michael traces a sudden drop in the stock market to the abduction of Ruth and her father. Rescued, Mr. Anthony acknowledges Michael's worthiness of Ruth.
