Synopsis

Brother and sister Jim and Rita Bayne own a ranch. Jim, a confirmed gambler, loses his share in a crooked card game with Bart Ramy. Unaware that Ramy now owns part of the ranch, Rita asks her brother to hire Tex Belden, a stranger who saved her life by stopping a runaway team of horses. Taking an immediate dislike to the stranger, Ramy accuses Tex of cattle rustling. At the same time Ramy incites Jim to rob the stagecoach. Jim is shot during the robbery, and Ramy escapes with the money. A confession from the dying boy saves Tex from being hanged. Tex proves Ramy's guilt and helps the posse capture him.
