Synopsis

Before Frederick Fielding goes to the coral-rich island of Crimson Shoals owned by his father Thomas, he secretly marries his neighbor, Marguerite Quinn, whose mother and father are enemies of his parents, and gives her his signet ring. Years later, Frederick, a prosperous owner of the island's coral reserves, grieves when he learns that his wife has died, but soon is occupied with finding out why his coral is disappearing regularly. Suspecting foreman Jack Quinn, Frederick, his father, and others sail for the island, but Jack challenges Frederick and arrests him. Helen, a member of Frederick's crew, and Jack fall in love and she discovers that Rex Burke, the company auditor, is responsible for the theft. After a series of adventures and fights, Jack, in an airplane, dynamites Burke's submarine, which he used to steal the coral. Frederick, seeing that Jack is wearing his signet ring, realizes that Jack is his son, and Jack and Helen continue their romance.
