Synopsis

Blaze Derringer, son of a wealthy cattle king, is sent out into the world by his father with the injunction not to return until he has earned $5,000. Blaze avails himself of the accommodations of a "side door pullman" and falls in with two hoboes, Lord Raleigh and Jefferson Lee. Lord Raleigh becomes his fight manager when Blaze engages in a prizefight with Hard Boiled Perry. He wins the bout but hits Perry so hard that doctors are required, and the mob turns on him. He escapes with the aid of Princess Alicia of Bargonia. The princess is on a diplomatic mission to raise funds to pay off Count Verensky, who is trying to force her into a marriage. Blaze returns with Alicia to Bargonia and wins her heart with his daring deeds. Verensky kidnaps her on the day of her coronation, but Blaze rescues her and Verensky is imprisoned. Blaze wins a wife and a throne.
