Synopsis
Stephan, a young father and husband who has left his former position with Angus Ferguson, owner of a Scotch steel mill, is struggling with a new invention. He visits Ferguson to collect money owed him. Before his arrival, Ferguson is killed by his son, Bruce, in an attempted robbery. Stephan is convicted for the murder and imprisoned, but his wife, Jean, continues the work of perfecting his invention and remains faithful to him though courted by a man of wealth and position. When she has all but despaired, the confession of the actual murderer of Ferguson brings Stephan's release and their reunion.
