Synopsis

Dolores, a dance hall girl known as "The Dove," is in love with a gambler named Johnny Powell. Don José, a wealthy caballero smitten by Dolores' beauty, frames Powell on a murder charge. Dolores bargains with Don José to release Powell in exchange for her freedom, but on the eve of her marriage to Don José, Powell returns from exile to claim Dolores. After an unsuccessful escape, Powell and Dolores are about to be shot when a crowd of bystanders forces Don José to release them. He relents, frees the prisoners, and gives them his carriage in which to depart.
