Synopsis
Blaze Burke, rough-and-ready lumberjack, is promised the job of camp boss if he eliminates a gang of lumber poachers. He is doublecrossed and the job goes to Milton Symmons, the employer's nephew. Blaze persuades Ruth Childers, Symmons' girl, to accompany him to a desolate cabin where they are followed by Red McLaughlin, deposed leader of the poachers, who after wounding Blaze is thrown to his death. Ruth returns to Symmons but transfers her love to Blaze when, during a forest fire, Symmons runs away and Blaze dashes through the flames to save her.
