Synopsis
Grant Whitney, manager of a lumber camp, discovers a plot to delay a shipment of logs. Lew Harkness, a foreman, is in league with a rival lumber company, and he is the cause of the delay. On his dismissal, Harkness causes trouble between Whitney and Brute Turner, the father of Jimmie, with whom Whitney is in love. Turner accuses Whitney of trifling with his daughter's affections, but Whitney proves his seriousness when he rescues both from a forest fire.
