Synopsis

Dr. Arthur Poole is paid $1,000 per week to treat the neurotic and spoiled Angelica Starr. Angelica is infatuated with her doctor, so Poole, afraid of losing his big fee, does not tell her that he is already married. Mrs. Poole, becoming jealous, appeals to neighbor George Dare for assistance. Having just quarreled with his own wife, George agrees to help Mrs. Poole. He throws a party at his aunt's country home and invites Poole, assuming that the latter will attend with Angelica. Plotting to expose the doctor, George escorts Mrs. Poole. Also in attendance are Helen Davis, a manicurist in love with Angelica's brother Harry, Mr. Starr, Mrs. Dare and Harry. After a series of chases and misunderstandings, the romantic affairs are disentangled and the married couples reconcile.
