Synopsis
"Pep" Pepper, a romantic cowboy whose faculty for dreaming loses him his job, tries to emulate Don Quixote's courage after reading the Spanish classic. He intervenes in a saloon quarrel; a knife is thrown, killing the proprietor; and Pep is blamed. He escapes by leaping from a window to his horse. In his wanderings he meets and falls in love with Tulip Hellier, daughter of a wealthy cattleman. Pep rescues Tulip from a bandit gang and exonerates himself from the charge of killing the bartender.
