Synopsis

"Smilin" Bob Corey and his partner Jim O'Neil, forest rangers, are sent to make a peaceful "penetration" into Paradise Valley, which is to be incorporated into a national park. They meet a sullen reception from the people but manage to obtain supplies from Marie Roselli, an Italian girl whose brother, Wolf, owns a cattle ranch. Corey rescues Martha McCarthy from the advances of Lemar, who, he learns, is cutting timber illegally; Corey falls in love with Martha but is dismissed from the house by her father when he discovers that Bob is a forest ranger. Lemar tries to frame Corey for the murder of Wolf and kidnaps Martha. Bob rescues her from the path of a raging forest fire, and they are both rescued by the rangers.
