Synopsis
A string of valuable pearls provides the motivation for the killing of a man, who intended them for his motherless daughter's homecoming. Finding her father's financial affairs in a terrible state, the girl is comforted by her father's friend, while her fiancé works diligently to identify the murderer. The butler acts suspiciously, but the true criminal is finally revealed (the father's friend?).
