Synopsis

Wealthy financier Harry Gray goes to jail after a federal investigation of his trust company, and his wife Marcia, with no money of her own, appeals to former suitor Orlando Castle for help in posting bail. He agrees, but when Harry is released he becomes suspicious of Marcia's renewed friendship with Orlando. He accuses her of infidelity and insists that she either accompany him to South America or remain with her "lover." Furious, Marcia refuses to go with Harry, and Orlando lets him go even though it means his financial ruin, since Harry is jumping the bail Orlando posted. A bankrupt depositor from the trust company kills Harry, allowing Orlando and Marcia to marry, with Orlando vowing to rebuild his fortune in order to make a good home for his wife.
