Synopsis

Nancy Lovejoy opposes her father's desire to marry the widow Tashman. Colonel Lovejoy decides to marry off Nancy to Jim Wildman so that she will stop her opposition to his remarriage. Colonel Tashman schemes with his friend Judge Alwyn to make Nancy jealous of Jim by having Jim pay special attention to Mrs. Tashman at a ball. In order to save Jim for herself, Nancy consents to her father marrying the widow. Mrs. Tashman, however, refuses Colonel Lovejoy. She wants to marry Dick Richardson, who is loved by Kathleen, Mrs. Tashman's maid. Nancy and Kathleen are kidnapped, but in the end they are rescued, and the three couples are successfully paired up: Nancy with Jim, Mrs. Tashman with Colonel Lovejoy, and Kathleen with Dick.

Notes

Although contemporary sources state that this film, whose working title was A Tangled Romance, was adapted from a play, no information on a possible theatrical source is available. Joseph Badaracco, the cameraman, is probably the same as Jacob Badaracco, a cinematographer who worked for World Film Corp.
