Synopsis

Everett Nelson, known as a local character by his neighbors and exploited by his father, leaves the farm for New York, and soon lands a lucrative job in a cabaret as a country dancer. Back home, rumors are spread about Everett causing a run on Mr. Nelson's bank. Mary Martin, Everett's sweetheart, goes to New York seeking help from Everett. Once there, she sways Everett who then returns home to save the bank and wed Mary.
