Synopsis
Dave Mathews, the foreman of Helen McMaster's ranch, travels east with a shipment of cattle and there discovers Jim Warner, the son of an old friend, in the act of stealing money from his father's safe to pay gambling debts. Dave protects the boy from the consequences of his action and takes him west to make a man of him. Buck Conners, whom Dave suspects of cattle rustling, abducts Helen, and Jim rides to her rescue. Jim later saves Dave from Buck's gang. The gang is finally captured, Jim has become a man, and Dave and Helen make plans to ride the range of life together.
