Synopsis

Disturbed by the separation of his friends Mary Smith and Arthur Saxon, who really love each other, William "Red" Saunders resolves to reconcile the couple. Discovering that Belknap, a missionary with political aspirations, exercises a destructive hypnotic influence over Mary, Red schemes to eliminate Belknap. Red's opportunity presents itself when Belknap joins forces with the followers of the insurgents led by Dupreto, who plans to overthrow the government. Forming an alliance with Presidente Orinez, Red succeeds in both routing the traitors and reconciling Mary and Arthur.

Notes

According to the synopsis included in the copyright descriptions, the character played by Tote Du Crow was named "Perez." Henry Wallace Phillips wrote many novels and short stories featuring the Red Saunders character. He also wrote for motion pictures and it is unclear whether or not this particular story had been published previously. A Western film made by RKO in 1939 bears the same title but is otherwise unrelated to this film.
