Synopsis
A prizefighter from a small town tries to break into the big time, but he is doped during his first professional fight and is later barred from the ring by the boxing commission on the charge of throwing the match. The fighter attempts to prove his innocence with the help both of his loyal manager and of the girl he loves, the daughter of a man who is about to lose his beanery to the sheriff for nonpayment of a mortgage note. The fighter eventually clears his name and wins his second professional fight, earning enough money to pay off his future father-in-law's mortgage.
