Jim Jones, cheated by Three-Card Spencer, a gambler in Red Dog, Arizona, steals the money and escapes to Mexico. There he joins a band of outlaws and becomes their leader; eventually he persuades them to return to Arizona and give themselves up. In Boulder City Jim meets Goldie, a stranded chorus girl working as a waitress, and she resolves to help him. She goes to Red Dog, returns the gamblers' stolen money, and tells Jim's story to the sheriff, but she is herself arrested; Jim cleverly eludes the sheriff of Red Dog, but the Boulder City sheriff proves that the stolen money is counterfeited, and Three-Card is convicted. Jim gets a reward and wins Goldie.
