Synopsis

Diane Westfall, the heiress to the Westfall millions, seeks adventure in a green van to escape her boredom. Unknown to her, however, four men pursue her: her cousin Carl, who wants her inheritance; Baron Tregar of the Balkan country of Houdania, who is looking for the rightful heir to his country's throne and thinks that it may be Diane because of a document Carl found; Prince Ronador, who was foiled in his attempt to kill Diane to get control of the throne, and thus is trying to marry her; and Philip Poynter, an American friend of the Baron's, who falls in love with Diane and tries to protect her. Diane discourages Philip's attentions after the Prince denounces him, but when she gets to the Everglades, she learns from the Seminole medicine man Mic-co that Philip is the only one who loves her for herself. She marries Philip after Mic-co reveals that he is her father and the heir to the Houdania throne but he wanted to escape the position.
