Synopsis
Ex-sheriff Pete Watson comes to Lone Pine to help his brother, Steve, regain their deceased father's ranch, taken over by a murderous gang of horsethieves led by Dan Talbot, owner of a neighboring ranch. Pete gets a job with Talbot and gathers evidence against the gang by establishing a reputation as a bungler. With the assistance of Judge Price, Pete pins a number of crimes on the Talbot gang. Finally, Steve, having rounded up his own boys, engages in a fracas with Talbot and his men and defeats them. Talbot's niece, Ellen, realizes her uncle's perfidy and helps Pete and Steve defeat them; then she returns to Arizona with Pete.
