Synopsis
Johnny Parker, the new owner of the Banning Ranch, is suspected of being the mysterious "Hawk," a notorious road agent; and determined to clear his name, he and his men disperse bandits from a stage robbery. Banning, who is actually the "Hawk," orders his men to hide in a cave while he changes into his usual ministerial disguise. Jane Brooks, a pretty girl disguised as a bespectacled professor, pretends to be interested in minerology and goes to inspect the caves while Johnny, hearing they are haunted, goes there to satisfy his curiosity. Banning catches her out of disguise, forces her into an automobile, and drives toward the border. Johnny heads off the fugitive and battles Banning in the car to a finish.
