Synopsis
Bruce Edwards returns to his hometown to take possession of an estate willed him by his father but finds that according to documentary proof exhibited by Squire Willetts the estate has been traded for worthless swampland by his father. Bruce takes a job in the village tavern and romances June Gordon, whose mother suspects Willetts of foul play; he is falsely accused of theft by the squire but escapes and not only makes the squire believe that the swampland is valuable for manufacturing purposes but succeeds in regaining his rightful estate. He and June then leave for their honeymoon.
